Marty
M. Fahncke
Since
1999, Marty M. Fahncke has been President of FawnKey
& Associates, a product development, marketing,
and consulting company. FawnKey & Associates helps
emerging and existing businesses increase revenue,
profitability, and customer satisfaction through the
use of integrated marketing and sales efforts. By
utilizing Direct Response Television, E-commerce,
and many other forms of marketing, Mr. Fahncke has
personally developed tens of millions of dollars in
revenue for his clients.
Mr.
Fahncke was previously the President of Thane Internet
Group, a division of Thane International Inc., one
of the premier Electronic Retailing companies in the
world. He had responsibilities for all Internet related
businesses within the Thane group of companies, which
includes B-to-C and B-to-B web sites that conduct
business over 80 countries. Under Mr. Fahncke’s
management, consumer e-commerce site revenues increased
from $1.5 million to over $30 million in sales in
only three years. This growth was highly profitable,
with an average 30% gross margin. Mr. Fahncke was
also a member of corporate Mergers & Acquisitions
team for the parent company, Thane Inc., completing
over $200 million in corporate acquisitions in 2001
and 2002.
Mr.
Fahncke has also held a position as Director of International
Marketing for Williams Worldwide Television, based
in Santa Monica, California. Responsible for applying
marketing expertise to developing products through
brand building promotions via Direct Response Television,
Print, Catalog and Retail in over 70 countries, each
with unique cultural, economic and marketing needs.
In
all, Mr. Fahncke has over 18 years in sales, marketing,
and management, primarily involved in the marketing
of products and services directly to consumers via
television, telemarketing, the internet, and other
forms of direct marketing, both domestic and international.
Past experience includes several years with Convergys,
the largest telemarketing company in the world, and
O’Currance Inc., which was named in 1996 as
the second fastest growing telemarketing company in
the United States while Mr. Fahncke served as the
head of Sales & Marketing. (954% one-year increase)
In
addition to consumer marketing experience, Mr. Fahncke
also has several years of technical product marketing
experience with Iomega Corporation, Roy, Utah, where
he managed a multi-million dollar territory selling
high-end computer peripherals. Account base included
General Motors, Dow Chemical, and the Federal Government.
As Inside Sales Manager, Mr. Fahncke was instrumental
in the highly successful launch of the new ZIP Drive
in 1994-1995, which generated nearly $300 million
in revenue during 1995, and resulted in one of the
largest stock increases ever seen by a mature company.
