Elise Whitworth
Elise's specialty is communicating to the masses. During college, she started out in journalism, winning awards and a scholarship from American News Women's Club. As managing editor of the student paper, she learned the basics of design software while directing the layout and photo editors, watching them as they worked. Thereafter, in nearly every position she worked, Elise would assist in writing and designing a variety of newsletters, forms, marketing materials, et cetera, even when it wasn't part of her job description.
After dabbling in website design for a while, Elise began establishing websites for clients and helping them with Internet marketing. Her success lies in her flexibility. Many designers have their own style, while Elise is more like a sponge who absorbs the style of her clients then squeezes that style out into a website that is unique and completely their own. Anyone looking at her incredibly diverse portfolio can see this. When beginning a new project, Elise's first question is always "please look at other websites and tell me which ones you do and don't like," and the foundation is built.
Another key to her success is her resourcefulness. Whatever the client needs, anything from an affiliate program to e-commerce capability to banner ads, she can make it happen, be it with a free open-source script or custom code, depending on the budget. She also has access to hundreds of e-mail list owners whose lists contains millions of emails and can negotiate good marketing deals.
